Rapid Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting team as an entry-level Accounting Specialist!

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including:
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts
  • Supporting Senior Accounting staff in various projects as needed
  • Assist with sales tax compliance in multiple states
  • Answer the phones and direct calls to the correct person/department. 
  • Answer the door and facilitate visitor sign-in. 
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting duties. 
  • Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives. 
Requirements: 
  • Candidates should possess (or be working towards) at least an Associate's degree in Accounting. 
  • Must have a solid understanding of basic Accounting principles. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Accounting software is preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
